CONDITION: excellent.
NOTES: Very fine, painted detail. Ebisu and Daikokuten are often paired as they both represent fortune and prosperity.
This came out of a doll engineer's family "treasure house". He thought they could be as old as Meji period (1868-1912). The kiri wood (paulownia) box style could have been from then but there is no way to confirm this. Most definitely would be prewar.
