Miniature Japanese Retro House/Living Room

Miniature of a retro (1960's) Japanese house/living quarters. Made of wood, the traditional decor includes tatami mat floors, a table, a dressing table and a tansu with working drawers and a sliding door. The "modern" decor includes a wall clock and television! It comes in the original box. It measures approximately 8-1/4" x 6" deep x 6-1/4" high. It's new but not sure if it's brand new or new old stock. This was obtained directly from a Japanese company in Japan, and was surprised to find "made in China" marked on box. Nevertheless, it's cute, accurate and well made. There is even a pack of charcoal underneath to keep the item fresh and dry. Got to love the T.V.!!! (Please also see the old time Japanese house/living room from the same series).
