NAME: Modern creative Japanese kokeshi
MAKER: Miyashita Hajime. No stamp or label (probably fell off) but artist is correct.
SIZE: 15-1/4" including the stand, which measures 3-3/4" x 2-3/4"
CONDITION: A few dents, dings and scratches. There is a 3/16" light gouge on the back.
NOTES: Design is all carved except for the obi, which is applied paper.
Was probably attached to the stand to stabalize as is quite top heavy.
Three sizes are available. This is the tallest of the three.
