NAME: Tsuchiyu traditional Japanese kokeshi

MAKER: Shinji Ouchi

SIZE: 9-3/4"

CONDITION: Three large dents on one side of the body, a small round dent by the right eye and a few other small dents. The wood is not perfect and has a lot of small vertical pit-like marks all over.

NOTES: The heads of rattlers are hollowed out and beans inserted before attaching to the body. They are more on the rare side. This, I expect is the reason this doll was one of the higher priced Tsuchiyu in the lot.
